It's been hard not to share more photos from this chic brunch wedding at Aurora in Brooklyn and now I finally can! I'm thrilled to see Jocelyn + Phil's wonderful wedding up on Style Me Pretty today. It's one of those weddings that I would love to do all over again and if you haven't been to Aurora yet you must try it. Has it really been two months since my last post? I think that's an indicator of what an amazing and fulfilling wedding season I've had. There have been incredible venues, sweet vows and smooth dance moves and I'm so thankful for these amazing couples who let me capture their special days. I seem to say that a lot, but it's always true. In fact, I'll stop talking and just show you what I mean. Here are some recent weddings of mine that were featured on Style Me Pretty. Click on the badges below to see the full galleries and enjoy!

Lindsay + Julian // Flatbush Farm
A beautiful backyard wedding at Flatbush Farm in Brooklyn. Lindsay + Julian got ready at the stunning Wythe Hotel beforehand and I must admit that it is my new favorite hotel in all of NYC. The views can't be beat and those floor to ceiling windows are a photographer's dream.
I loved the details and L+J obviously put some time into them with the help of the wonderful Jove Meyer Events. Lindsay's brother designed the stunning Ketubah and their gift for guests was a unique cookbook compiled from all the guests' favorite recipes. Such a great idea!

Tammy + Dan // Long Island Backyard Wedding
Pizza, puppies and peonies. Does it get much better? I almost don't want to say anything else because those three words make me pretty happy, but that wouldn't be doing this wedding justice. There was so much more if you can even believe it!
The flower girls and ring bearer had awesome balloons to walk down the aisle with and the food was an amazing mix of sushi, Roberta's Pizza, Lassi Pops and Luke's Lobster rolls. Woah. Not to mention that the wedding took place in the family backyard and was stunning. Tammy + Dan were smiling (almost) as big as that puppy dog over there the whole day and I'm so happy for them!

Kate + Andrew // Poughkeepsie, NY
This winter wedding will be make you excited for the colder weather we're having! Kate + Andrew were married in Poughkeepsie earlier this year on a chilly day when there were still signs of snow and we took full advantage of it. There may or may not have even been a snowball fight amongst the groomsmen pre-ceremony.
Lots of happy tears, gorgeous details and the bride's sister made the delicious cupcakes! I loved it and I think you will to.

Featured // Ruffled
I liked Brooke + Jon the second I met them. Food and music lovers who have the sweetest dog ever and live just a few stops away in Brooklyn! It's always nice to really hit it off with a couple and know that you'll be drinking and dining together long after the wedding is over, especially when they happen to be as talented in the kitchen as Brooke. Needless to say the food, music and every last detail was picture perfect and the venue, Basilica Hudson, is one of my new favorite wedding venues. A beautiful wedding day from start to finish with happy friends and family celebrating these two special people!
Brooke + Jon's picturesque wedding was recently featured on Ruffled, one of my favorite wedding blog for DIY weddings, and I wanted to share the post with you here.

Featured // Brooklyn Bride
Sarah + Sam's gorgeous wedding is featured today on Brooklyn Bride and I wanted to share a few more words about it. At our initial meeting Sarah told me that her grandparents had first met at the Brooklyn Navy Yard so the location was really special to them. I was hooked on their story and had to share. Here's Sarah's take on their wedding:
For being the most indecisive person around, saying yes when Sam proposed was the easiest
decision I've ever made. Wedding planning was not as easy. We wanted
our wedding to feel like a fancy backyard dinner party but we were both
very particular about the venue. We wanted something that didn't feel
staged for a wedding. We had been living in Brooklyn for over three
years and I have strong family ties to the naval yard. So since we
weren't planning on getting married in my hometown, the Brooklyn Navy
Yard would still provide some family history. BLDG92 was actually the
first place we looked but it wasn't open yet so we kept looking...for months. Right
as we were about to push the wedding back to the following summer/fall
when we checked the BLDG92 website again and it was finally open! Once
we found out our favorite neighborhood restaurant had a cafe at the
museum and would handle the event, the rest came together very quickly.
My grandparents, Frank and Mary C. Miller met during WWII at the BNY in 1945. Frank Miller,
a Chief Petty Officer, had just returned from a supply trip to Africa
and rather than take the allowed R&R time, (this was wartime), went
to put his papers in requesting assignment to the next ship going out.
On the way out of the Admiral’s office, he saw Mary Belcastro in the
typing pool and immediately went back and took his papers off the desk.
75 days later, after a whirlwind courtship, Frank and Mary C. Miller were married and shared 56 years of happiness.
It
was amazing to be married where my grandparent's life together began
and to have my 92 year old grandmother as the guest of honor. If Sam
and I can have half of the good times my grandparents shared, I'd
consider us pretty fortunate.
Isn't that amazing? Thank you, Sarah, for sharing and congratulations to you both!
