Engagement // Brigid + Nick

Well, hello 2014.  Nice to see you and I realize it's time to get back on track with blogging!  Last year was quite a wonderful one that began with a Brooklyn wedding and ended with an Anguilla one and everything in between was equally as wonderful.  I want to say, again, a huge congratulations to everyone who tied the knot last year.

That being said I'm looking forward to 2014 just as much.  I just got back from Australia where I witnessed some of my best friends getting married (I wasn't the photographer) and this year has me traveling for weddings from Brooklyn (yeah!) to upstate New York to the Berkshires and even Hong Kong!  It's shaping up to be an incredible year.

Now onto this engagement shoot that makes me really happy…

As a NYC photographer I feel very strongly about my city as a fantastic backdrop for engagement sessions and weddings, but when Brigid and Nick contacted me from Baltimore I have to admit that I jumped at the chance.  They gave me a tour of their city and I got to see all of the great industrial details that remind me of my very own neighborhood in Brooklyn.  We started at their alma mater, Loyola, and wandered through a few neighborhoods before it started raining down by the docks.  It really couldn't have been more perfect.   Rain gets a bad rap, but with some clear umbrellas, smiles and lots of love it's one of the most romantic backdrops.  Congratulations B+N and see you in Baltimore soon!

Locations: BALTIMORE // Clipper Mill // Loyola University // Fells Point
